Week One
Well here it is the first Blog of Tim and his Camp adventures for 2009. What has been happening, we are still in pre-season setup which is a whole lot of painting, staining, building and other manual labour tasks! oh the joys of it all... Who knew it would be this fun to start with. We have done several little outings over the past few days: Walmart was the main one and of course EVERYONE went as it is such a cultural institution. The people here are amazing already; holla to all my bitches, Bridge, Fi, Haley, Kayla, Angela, kim (aka T******-cheeks) and all the girls around here. Oh and I guess Hi to the boys to! The camp is amazing it is the size of the whole world-ha ha ha with a lake, trapeze, theatre, gym, dance room, dining hall... you name it, it is probably here.
We are taking out first "big" trip away from Camp on Sunday. Off to Six Flags New England which is a theme park with some of the worlds greatest award winning coasters which is going to totally awesome. It is currently 10:30pm at night here and for some reason you never really want to fo to sleep when it is this time of night. However all during the day you are so tired and feel like you need to take a nap. Days are long and tiring but you get over them.
What else to report? No a lot really, kids dont get here for another two weeks. We have a week of orientation to go.. where we are pretty much told don't hit the kids and to be their friends (it is much more complicated than that of course, but that is wht it feels like sometimes)
Well that is enough for now, no doubt I will of forgotten things!
